If a toilet in the same room as a shower is flushed, the Sim in the shower will scream from the changing water temperature, a common comedic trope. The showering Sim may later lecture the Sim that flushed the toilet. Sims may sometimes receive a "Cold Shower" negative moodlet from using a cheap shower, or an "Exhilarating Shower" positive moodlet from using an expensive one.
Sims with the required handiness skill can upgrade the shower to be self-cleaning or unbreakable. Generations adds the ability to WooHoo in a shower, and allows children and teens to booby trap the shower with hair dye.
Island Paradise , Movie Stuff and Into the Future include all-in-one bathrooms, which function as a combination of a shower and a toilet. Sims enter fully clothed, and they do not violate privacy. The Sims 3 Store has outdoor showers, and Sims don't switch to their naked outfit while using them. Even though the object's footprint is 1x1, it requires an area of 2x2 tiles in order to be placed.
Replaces regular shower with "Quickie Cleanse", which cleans Sims in their current outfit without others being shooed. This builds their advanced technology skill, with the low skill making them more prone to the object's post-use failure. A sim with level 9 advanced technology skill can upgrade the shower to unlock the "Power Cleanse" interaction, which increases hygiene faster and stops hygiene decay for 5 hours. Showers in The Sims 4 function similarly to those in The Sims 3 in that they can be upgraded to improve their stats.

Recently, while attempting to revive my video game playing, I stumbled across a type of challenge I had never seen before. An Apocalypse Challenge. It required too much RAM, and just took way too long to load. It turned out that the group was planning a tournament to begin shortly. I decided I wanted to play — thinking it may give me some motivation to immerse myself back in the gaming world post-graduation.
From eating to visiting community lots, choosing careers to marriage, children going to school and even Free Will. It is not defined by a set of generations, but instead suggests that you attempt to lift all of the restrictions governed by different careers in the shortest amount of time possible.
It did not help much. Usually I wound up with more questions than answers luckily the group on FaceBook is more than willing to assist in rule clarifications , and it seemed that as soon as I grasped the concepts the challenge admins were tweaking, defining, adding, and changing rules to meet Tournament ideals and new expansion specifications.
To be entirely honest, this challenge is overwhelming. So overwhelming, that as the rules changed and the tournament specifications began to be nailed down, I genuinely considered stepping back from competing in the tournament. My saving grace? An incredible spreadsheet created by Audrey Flood.
It is a tracker and index detailing many restrictions needed and linking to the Apocalypse Challenge Wiki which contains the rules in a way I am not sure anyone else could have done. I have linked it directly on the right-hand toolbar for all who wish to attempt the challenge. Naturally, all credit goes to her. I HATE shop mode, btw. As soon as I began attempting to play the save file, the game began crashing. After a few tries, I noticed this was mainly in-game, while attempting to load the house or town ie: switching to map view to visit a rabbithole. Every single one of my files was now corrupted. I was forced to entirely uninstall, then reinstall each of my Sims 3 games and EPs, plus all of my store content. I have spent 2 days reinstalling, and created a test file which is a replacement Cat Challenge progress to come soon.
The game appears to be functioning now, so I will soon re-start some Sims Challenges. The Cat Challenge will probably just be a weekly update. Here they are! This is contradictory to all other stories told by other characters in the game, who say that when a world is destroyed all of its inhabitants and physical objects are scattered to other worlds. I have only actually completed playing the original Kingdom Hearts game. Every video clip there seems to be something new, and rarely with any resolution to the original themes.
