Although this spot is a decent value, fees for basic amenities such as in-room Wi-Fi and television may be off-putting for some. Live evening entertainment and daytime recreational activities are provided, and there's a small poolside recreation area for additional fun. For a similar property closer to the action, try Servatur Barbados Apartments, but note that the rooms are even more dated. Neat desert landscaping lines the bungalow walkways, and large cacti -- almost as old as the property itself -- tower against a backdrop of pristine white buildings.
All things considered, this hotel stands out as one of the most pleasant apart-hotels that we visited on Gran Canaria, and the fun Latin dance music playing from the restaurant was a bonus, adding a cool island vibe to the mix. Despite -- or because of -- its somewhat remote location, the hotel was busier than other similar properties during our visit, with young couples, groups of friends, and young families lounging by the pool, playing in the recreation areas, or asking questions at reception.
We saw mostly younger British guests here, who are the majority of guests, although the hotel is also frequented by Germans. This allows for tranquility away from any late night music or noise, but a car or taxi is required to reach the major attractions. A Spar supermarket can be found three minutes up the road, but any restaurants, bars, or other entertainment are best found in Yumbo Shopping Centre, an eight-minute drive away.
CC Kasbah, frequented for its nightlife and shops, is a minute drive away. The hotel runs a free shuttle bus that takes guests to Maspalomas' beach, about a minute drive away. The Maspalomas sand dunes are a protected nature reserve and can be accessed via the beach.
Gran Canaria has just one airport, which is a minute drive from the property. At the time of our visit in April , roughly half had already been renovated, with the other half scheduled to be completed by autumn All apartments are spotlessly clean and come with kitchenettes, sofabeds, flat-screen TVs, and large balconies.
There's a fridge in Alot of the reviews for Vista Oasis seem rather negative. I put this down to the attitude of their authors. Then consider Just back from 1 week all inclusive. Plus points 1. Great weather, sunshine with a nice breeze 2.
Pool cleaned every day and spotless. Lifeguard provides a gr8 20min water exercise dance routine We travelled here on 24th May for 1 week as a family holiday. Got to say it's a ok go. We was staying in a 2 bed bungalow but the kids beds was sofa beds in living room. Would of liked My husband and I stayed here for one week at end of may. Well where do I begin, apart from our bungalow and the poolside there is not a lot I can say to praise this hotel.
The staff were the most New upgraded apartments, fabulous holiday, staff friendly and welcoming, lots more pool side fun with water aerobics and seems to have more family's staying here now!
We come here every May This hotel is rubbish reminds me of faulty towers lol not what i expected but will not book with love holidays again as this 2nd time and both hotels been of poor quality it's quite far out on a hill After reading some negative things on here about this place, i expected bad things. But in my opinion every penny was worth it. Very nice bungalow with livingroom, kitchen, bedroom and badroom. The room was spotless.
Regularly cleaned I wouldn't recommend this place, the staff are very unfriendly except for the cleaners they were friendly the food is VERY bad We went to Vista Oasis bungalows for a family holiday from 26th April to 6th May this year. To be honest it was our first all inclusive, we wanted to go Canaries for the weather this time of year and This was the second time we stayed at this resort.
Have to say, the bungalow was very nice. New furniture and foam mattresses were excellent. We asked for a Seaview and what a view. The reception When arriving here after 10pm they kindly arranged for food to be given to us with drink also. The staff are very polite, some may seem rude only because not all are completely Multilingual I have been to The Vista Oasis 5 times and just booked for 3 weeks in October.
Now I love a barging like I'm sorry but I won't be returning here as the food here is shockingly horid. Very much over cooked. The complex and the bungalows are great quality for the price paid. I have stayed in shabbier 4-star places in Gran Canaria. The whole place is is a good state of repair and very clean. The pool Hotel is OK but food rubbish and staff rude and miserable the only member of staff that was friendly was life gaurd.
Do not opt for all inclusive complete waste of money food is disgusting we paid to Well first of all the good points of this complex. The all inclusive is extremely good value. The food is very tasty and the drinks are good and they are easily accessible. The pool is lovely and My husband and I went here on our honeymoon.
Wouldn't reccomend it and won't be back. Staff where very unfriendly and unhelpful there was no maps or posters or anything to help suggest where was good Wel hotel was good for the money , we stayed in our own bungerlow but the staff were so rude the worst ones serving us drinks by the pool , Peter , and young girl , they insisted only two drinks at a Witnessing a fight on my first night was horrific and the length of time it took staff to get police involved was unacceptable We wanted a short and inexpensive break in the sun away from cold English weather and this was just fine for that purpose.
The bungalow had been recently decorated, was a good size for two people Came home on the 10th of May after staying here for a week all inclusive.
Friendly staff and food and drinks good. Met some great people while here and would recommend this hotel as a great base for We have just returned and we are looking to going back next year. I will start with the 1 minus :some people who were staying at the hotel were loud and rude ,swearing and just being a pain in the My sister and I stayed at Vista Oasis last week and not too sure on what to expect as some reviews were a bit harsh.
We were Does exactly what it says on the tin, absolute fabulous for what you pay!! Get all inclusive and then use it as a Base as it's so cheap to book you can spend the rest on visiting places, I recommend I stayed in the Vista Oasis last week and enjoyed it a lot.
The pool is lovely, staff are very nice and the apartment was perfect. Beds were fine and shower was lovely. The large balcony was in the Check in was easy and quick after a long flight and transfer got to our room and in was clean and tidy and very nice the all inclusive was all you would expect for a 3 star hotel there were one Don't bother coming here Negatives - All inclusive food was rubbish, burgers, chips, tinned sausages and pizza same food every My husband and I stayed at Vista Oasis for 4 nights in March for my 40th birthday.
On arrival we were checked in quickly to our room which was basic but clean and comfortable. We headed to the bar Me and a friend spent 4nights all inclusive at the Vista Oasis, we couldn't find any faults or anything to complain about, the rooms are great, food was good, staff were friendly weather was We have been going back to Vista Oasis for many years.
It is always a pleasurable experience. The staff are always helpful and always do their best to facilitate us. Vista Oasis is bright, clean Stayed here for a week during the Easter Holidays. We was quite anxious because of the mixed reviews.
We stayed in a 1 bed apartment self catering. However, we had a fantastic week! The pool area Currently staying here and had to post to say I do not understand the negative reviews the staff are the nicest I've encountered accommodation is modern and clean pool area wonderful with plenty of Just returned after a great week here at the oasis bungalows, traveled with Hubbie and 2 girls, Check in was quick and easy, got shown to our bungalow which was lovely and clean and lots of room Myself and some friends have just returned from a fantastic stay at Vista Oasis Maspalomas.
On arrival I was overwhelmed by the quality of the apartments, they were new, modern and perfectly clean On arrival to the entrance it does look a little basic but don't let this put you off. Check in was simple and quick, once we had our key we were Basic but clean, friendly staff plenty of entertainment and a decent selection of food and drink Been here in with my daughter and family loved it so much i went back in and im going again in oct The staff are fantastic always friendly and welcoming, such a relaxing holiday, the Sat by the pool enjoying the sunshine.
This is our fifth Easter visit in a row. The complex continues to update; the restaurant looks much better, the pool tables have been moved out of sight and the I have just returned from another 2 brilliant weeks in the Vista Oasis.. There have been major changes in there, some cosmetic and some structural..
There are now hairdryers in every bungalow, some We totally don't understand all the bad reviews. As someone said before if you are looking for a 5 star experience then pay 5 star prices!!! This place is great value for money. Staff were friendly Our first visit to Vista Oasis and we found it lovely. Accommodation consisted of a one bedroom apartment which overlooked the pool, plenty of wardrobe space, spacious shelving in the bathroom If I could mark this any lower I would, first of all the lady at reception is rude abrupt and unwelcoming.
The breakfast food was so horrible very basic and tasteless. The rooms wasn't cleaned and Booked for half board and enquirer if we could swap our evening meal for lunch as we had friends in another hotel which we would be meeting every night for We arrived and was greeted at reception staff where very polite.
Most of staff very rude and abrupt. Decent accommodation, a few stairs around the complex but not off putting. Very relaxed and friendly place. Away from the biz of maspalomas but only 3 euros or so in a taxi. Food not to my taste but After reading lots of reviews I had a mixed impression of this hotel. On arrival I was pleasantly surprised. The male receptionist checked us in very efficiently and was really welcoming and If you want quiet this is good ,bar closes at11oclock ,lights out doors closed at 11pm,go out side round pool,no where to go by foot, rooms we stayed in poor ,but some have been done up ,bed covers Went to this place worried but came home highly surprised and very relaxed.
It's nice and simple and for the money could not moan. The weather is red-hot so pack lots of sun cream and after sun. It was lovely and clean swimming After reading the reviews on Tripadvisor we were slightly worried about the booking we had made. I am pleased to say that the worry was needless. The apartment was clean and ready for our arrival We went to Maspalomas more than a year and a half ago but the place made us wanting more.
The bungalow we were given was towards the back. Quiet area. From the terrace you could see the ocean Don't judge a book by its cover!! My Friend and I came here on the 4th of Feb for a week what a relaxing break we both had the rooms were very clean the reception welcome was warm and friendly Visited here for a week three weeks ago all inclusive.
After some reviews was approaching our holiday with trepidation, instead surprised by such a lovely place. Food was very canteen like but some Very quiet appartments. The location was great. We Met lovely people who go back every year. Paco the Owner was very good. Was Helpful and nothing was any trouble. Stayed here August Amazing as always!
Stayed in a room overlooking the pool, could see all the way to Maspalomas Beach. Food delicious as always. Sometimes limited choices for vegetarians like Although I've just returned from a fantastic family holiday, this place did not cut it as an all inclusive venue.
This hotel is just that, cheap and cheerful, great for a base to see gran canaria, its at the top of a bank and a bit away from the main shops and bars but the taxis are very very reasonable, the I just love vista Oasis. Nothing is too much bother we are heading back for our 5th visit in September. All inclusive offers a great range of different foods and drinks. Cleanliness is We stayed for new year and the staff were superb, they really made an effort to give everyone a great night.
The week leading up to NYE they were friendly and kind. The hotel is in need of a little We stayed in the renovated block over Xmas We will not recommend this hotel to any. The pictures does not match the reality. The rooms are dirty. All the outdoor furniture were so dirty we had to clean them ourselves to sit on them, the Stayed here with my family in Jan We went to relax after a busy Christmas period at work, and the apartments and complex had everything we needed to do this with the kids, it had a play park Location is very out of the way for everything Pool is split into 2 small but nice Room was was basic but a huge patio area with some nice views of the dunes in the Second time here again can't say anything but clean good food and would go back free bus to beach we had room number 1 close to pool restaurant staff very helpful lots to do around for family many Well serviced bungalows , stayed self catering , kettle ,toaster and two hotplates , a small spar less than ten minutes walk and a large spar supermarket less than twenty minutes with an excellent Where do I start?!
The lady at the desk is rube! The man of a night time is lovely will help with anything. The rooms well I was number 31 there was a smell coming from the bathroom the hole The hotel is quite easy going which we prefer, however if you have youngish kids it's probably not really the place to be.
Room was great, spacious enough and with a lovely veranda that overlooked This hotel is a must not, I really don't normally give bad reviews but this hotel is the worse iv ever stayed in, the staff are rude the food is disgusting We arrived to a lovely welcome from the man on reception that gave us all the information we needed and even set up the free WiFi that's available in reception on my phone.
Our room was 78 and had We booked a all inclusive holiday at Vista Oasis. This is a big regret. The food provided is so poorly made and awful we couldn't eat there. We have spent a lot of money on taxis down to Maspalomas The hotel is less than ten minutes in a taxi from Maspalomas beach and locally around the hotel there are a wide range of bars and restaurants. The staff were helpful and friendly and even helped a Our stay at the Vista Oasis was a very pleasant experience and we got to meet some great characters, it felt at times like Butlins in the Sun, with no shortage of the very camp and a few Divas's all My Brother and I stayed here self catering, 8thth November the hotel maybe a little rough around the edges, but the rooms are spacious and clean with comfy beds.
The rooms are cleaned Just returned from vista oasis and had a great time. Bungalow was nice beds comfy, plenty of room, clean etc. Lots of outside space and near to pool. No complaints about the staff they were helpful Start off will the bungalows I have read some reviews and the bungalows are being Well, in the 4 holidays I have been abroad, 3 has been to vista oasis!
It's an ideal, family, low cost hotel. We love Smallish apartment for 5 people but we coped! Could do with a couple of updates but clean and manageable. Views were amazing which I'm surprised other reviewers have hardly mentioned! Small shop on Smashing room great views saltwater pools, very clean ,but the food is bland and the same stuff served,no food served between 10 and 1pm,drinks were ok.
Flies all over the food and restaurant. Drinks were ok and didn't like the rooms. Considering the amount I paid. I could have had same holiday with excellent food just down the road. I won't be Stayed at the Vista Oasis last week and have to say after reading reviews was very pleasantly suprised. This is one of the cheapest all inclusives on Gran Canaria and if you look at it like this you Had a great time at the vista oasis it's cheap and cheerful and you get what you pay for don't expect 5 star cos it's far from it!
It's not near anything so if you want to be near the beach etc it's Upon arrival at 11pm, we were greeted by a fairly older chap who checked us into apartment Ok here it is as it was! Arrived around pm.
The reception was ok not very inviting. If you want tv remove this also extra charge. There is a small shop there not stocked We stayed as a family of four on a half board basis. On arrival we were greeted by reception staff and as we were hiring a car we asked if we could use the car park.
We were told there was no parking My friend and went there for girlie week away.. We arrived early evening.. Staff were not helpful. All they seem to want was money for safe. A basic thing like tv especially if u We are just back from a week at this place Would we go back in a word Well what can i say this time Returned again with my Partner, Daughter, Granddaughter and returning friends who we met last year and friends Nice clean bungalow with lovely terrace, was a bit out the way but taxi only 4 to 5 euros to beach or playa del ingles, bus stops outside as well and free buses to beach, was a quiet peaceful resort Registered user Start session E.

Back again for the third year running We like this holiday home, it's perfect for chilling, always go all inclusive and enjoy the simplicity of the holiday, we like the fact you put your own plates etc on trolley when you've finished Very dissapointed We came here for one week and very disappointed we have been to canary islands for 5 years and stayed in low budget but this was appalling we had infestation of ants out side and inside and when Wifi is not free in the rooms.
